We had the privilege of going to St. Augustine several years ago and we loved it!! We have talked about retiring there as well! We are going to be able to go to FL again this September and would love to spend a night there. Any recommendations for nice (bed bug free) lodging? Nothing fancy, just clean since we would only be there a short time and really just want to enjoy the beach and re-tour the fort, walk the streets, etc. We are in love with this town! Thanks for any recommendations!

Rebecca
5langfordatcomcastdotnetAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1954658508597881903.post-75803002722026276662011-05-24T14:58:38.525-04:002011-05-24T14:58:38.525-04:00Sarah,

I graduated Flagler in 1992 and it was a lot different back then, but I agree, it's still a beautiful city! The only problem is, living here, we tend to take it for granted. This project made me take notice of the things we've been ignoring. I hope you can retire here like you want!Oddysseyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00246101119255832415noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1954658508597881903.post-27073181938707232462011-05-24T13:10:55.278-04:002011-05-24T13:10:55.278-04:00I just found your blog through Eat at Home's S...I just found your blog through Eat at Home's Staycation post. I graduated from Flagler in 2005 and miss St. Augustine so much! It truly is a beautiful city and I'm jealous that you live there. =) My husband and I have already decided that we're retiring to St. Augustine some day.Sarahnoreply@blogger.com
